Questions investigators ask.
-
Research use only means the compounds are sold for in vitro and in vivo investigative purposes only. They are not for human or veterinary consumption and are not approved for medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. By placing an order you confirm you are acquiring research compounds for research purposes only.

Every batch ships with vendor HPLC, mass spectrometry, and 1H NMR documentation. The full reports are published on the lab results page. Independent Janoshik Analytical third-party verification is in progress; verified COAs will be published alongside the vendor reports as testing completes.
-
Each compound page links to its current lot certificate. The headline number is the HPLC area-percent purity (target ≥98 percent for peptides, varies by compound class). Cross-checks worth running: identity confirmation by mass spectrometry within 0.5 ppm of the theoretical molecular weight; appearance description matching the lyophilization expectation (white to off-white powder for most peptides, blue for GHK-Cu, reddish for 5-Amino-1MQ); test date no more than 6 months prior to the order date. Compound-specific notes appear in the COA library tooltip.

Cold-chain shipping, US domestic only. Orders ship in a thermal-insulated container with a coolant pack rated for 72 hours of transit. Lyophilized peptides are heat-stable for the duration of standard transit but ship cold so investigators receive them in the same condition the lab sees them.
-
Most US destinations receive their order within 2 to 3 business days of dispatch. We use UPS Ground and FedEx Express depending on regional reliability. Tracking numbers appear in your order timeline once the carrier scans the package. Cold-chain integrity is documented through the carrier scan timeline; if the package shows an unexplained delay beyond 4 days in transit, contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can review the cold-chain log.
-
Domestic US only at this time. International shipping introduces customs review, cold-chain handoff complexity, and regulatory variation that we do not currently support. We expect to add Canadian shipping in a later phase.

Three methods: credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through a research-friendly high-risk processor, crypto on Bitcoin and Ethereum networks plus major stablecoins, and Zelle for US bank-to-bank transfer. Full instructions on the payments page.
-
Research-use-only compound sales are classified high-risk by the major payment networks because the merchant category sits outside the consumer goods norm. We route through a processor that underwrites this category specifically. From the buyer's side, card checkout is identical to any standard storefront: the card field is hosted by the processor, settlement is instant, and the order moves to QC review immediately on capture.
-
Bitcoin (BTC, on-chain), Ethereum (ETH, on-chain), and major USD-denominated stablecoins (USDC, USDT) on Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana. Lightning Network is supported for BTC. Confirmations clear within 1 to 3 blocks for ETH and stablecoin transactions, and 1 confirmation for BTC.
-
Choose Zelle at checkout. You will receive an email with the Kodiac Zelle handle and a unique reference code to include in the memo. Send the order total from your bank's Zelle interface; we mark the order paid once the deposit clears, typically within minutes. Zelle settles instantly during US banking hours and has no fee on either side.
-
Yes. Each lot is independently synthesized, and the COA documentation reflects the specific identity, purity, and physical attributes of the lot you receive. Variations within the published acceptance window (≥98 percent purity for peptides) are expected; variations outside the window result in the lot being rejected, not shipped. The lot ID printed on each vial label corresponds to the COA entry archived in your account.

Standard lab handling for lyophilized peptides dissolves the powder in a sterile aqueous solvent. Common choices in published protocols are bacteriostatic solvent containing 0.9 percent benzyl alcohol preservative for multi-use storage, or phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) for acute single-use experiments. The calculated solvent volume is added slowly along the side wall of the vial, not onto the powder, to avoid mechanical denaturation. The vial is allowed to rest 60 to 90 seconds and then gently swirled until the powder fully dissolves. The per-compound handling reference is documented in each monograph in the Learn section.
-
Lyophilized vials are stable at minus 20 degrees Celsius for at least 24 months in the original sealed vial under standard light protection. Reconstituted solutions are stable at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for 30 days minimum, with most peptides stable up to 60 days under refrigeration. Aliquot working solutions to avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Compound-specific stability notes appear in each monograph.
-
Sealed lyophilized vials may be returned within 14 days of delivery for credit or refund. Reconstituted product is not eligible for return. Cold-chain damage in transit (pack arrived warm to the touch, or the coolant melt is documented) is grounds for full replacement at our cost; report within 24 hours of delivery. Full policy at refund policy.

We respond to email within 1 business day. Order timeline questions, COA reissue requests, and address corrections route directly to the operations team. Compound chemistry questions route to the research team and may take an additional business day if the answer warrants additional citations.
-
Recurring fulfillment for monthly research dosing is supported on request. Email support@kodiac.org with the compound, target dosing window, and preferred fulfillment cadence; we set up the schedule manually and apply a 5 percent recurring-order discount. We do not enroll auto-billing without explicit confirmation per cycle.
-
Yes. Every lot ID is permanent in our records. If you purchased a previous lot and need the COA reissued, email the order number or lot ID to support@kodiac.org and the original COA will be returned within one business day. Once Janoshik third-party verification completes for that lot, the verified COA will be appended to the same archive entry.
-
Stack interactions where there is published research are documented in the per-compound monographs in the Learn section. Where the research is preliminary or confined to a single laboratory, that limitation is called out explicitly. We do not publish dosing recommendations for combinations that lack peer-reviewed literature.
-
The honest treatment of disputed claims is part of how a research-grade supplier earns trust. Where a compound's mechanism is supported only by a single laboratory or where independent replication is sparse, the monograph says so. Investigators making real research decisions need to know whether they are reading consensus or a single-laboratory finding. The monographs cite primary literature so claims can be verified against the source, not against marketing copy.

Purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Orders ship within the United States. Investigators are responsible for compliance with the laws of their state and any institutional review requirements that apply to their work. The full purchase terms are at terms.
